Daily challenge

Once a day, the game builds one course and gives it to everyone. Same thorns, same archers, same order. It's the fairest way to compare scores.

Playing the daily run

On the card before a run, switch from Endless to Daily run. The course changes at midnight on your device. You can play it as many times as you like; your best score of the day is kept.

Race your ghost

When you set a new daily best, the game remembers how you ran it. Next time you play that day's course, a faint "ghost" runner replays your best run beside you. Beat the ghost to the next obstacle, then beat it all the way.

Challenge a friend

After a daily run, the share button turns into Challenge. It sends a link along with a picture of your run. Whoever opens the link plays the same course, with your score shown as their target, and finds out at the end whether they beat it. Links work for past days too, so a challenge doesn't expire at midnight.

Streaks

Play the daily run on days in a row to build a streak. Each day pays coins, more the longer the streak, up to seven days. Keep it going for a week to earn the Every day badge and the Ember trail.
