Worlds and enemies
The run starts in Bamboo Valley. After each boss, the world changes: new colours, new music and one new enemy. Everything from earlier worlds keeps showing up too.

Bamboo Valley
Where it starts. Archers, thorns, rocks and more.

Red Desert
Adds scorpions that burst out of the sand.

Snow Peaks
Adds icicles dropping from above.

Moonlit Ink
Adds shadow ninjas throwing three shuriken.
Every danger at a glance
| Danger | What it does | What to draw |
|---|---|---|
| Thorns | A bed of spikes on the ground | A bridge over it, or a ramp before it |
| Archers | Shoot from hanging planks | A line across the red dots; tilt it to send the arrow back |
| Falling rocks | Drop from above where he'll be | A slanted roof to knock the rock aside |
| Pits | A gap in the ground | A bridge across |
| Spear throwers | Throw a fast, flat spear | An upright wall in the spear's path |
| Swinging logs | A log on a rope swings across the path | A wall to stop it, which snaps the rope |
| Boulders | Roll toward him along the ground | A wall to stop it, or a ramp to jump it |
| Arrow volleys | Several arrows rain down together | A roof over him |
| Hawks | Swoop down in a curve | A line in the dive |
| Crows | Drop bombs from above | A roof to catch the bomb |
| Scorpions | Scuttle toward him (Red Desert) | A bridge over it, or a jump |
| Icicles | Three drop in a row (Snow Peaks) | One long roof |
| Shadow ninjas | Throw three shuriken at once (Moonlit Ink) | A tall wall well in front |
Archers get tougher the further you run. From about 180 metres they fire two shots, from about 700 metres three. From 350 metres, some turn round after you pass and shoot at your back.
