Your ninja against someone else's, one on one, best of three. Free, in your browser and in the app.

Starting a match

On the home screen, pick Duel, then Find a match. You have three ways to play:

• Find an opponent: anyone online who is looking for a match too. If nobody turns up within a few seconds, a bot steps in so you're never left waiting.
• Fight a bot: practise any time, against a ninja that uses your own moves.
• Invite a friend: you get a four-letter code and a link. Your friend taps the link, or types the code under Have a code from a friend?, and you fight.

How a match works

It's Brawl, one on one. Tap your opponent's head, body or legs to strike, tap yourself to block, and draw a line to dash. The first to win two rounds takes the match. Both of you start each round with full health.

Everything you've bought in the Shop comes with you: your moves, your ultimate, your fighter upgrades, and everything you wear, so your opponent sees your ninja as you dressed it. Special moves stay out of duels, so a match is decided by fighting.

Wins and badges

Your duel wins are on the Stats screen. Win five duels for the Duelist badge and the Blood moon outfit.
