Twin Archers
The fifth boss, at 2,500 metres, back in Bamboo Valley as the worlds start their second lap. Two archers on hanging planks: one ahead of you, one behind, keeping pace and taking turns.

What they do
The twins glide in from both edges and settle into position: one ahead, one close behind. They take turns. The front twin aims and shoots, then the back twin, then the front again. Each holds still while aiming, so the red dots are exact.
The back twin's arrows are flatter and faster than normal, because they have to catch up with a running ninja. When the back twin is off the edge of the screen, a red arrow on the left edge warns you it's aiming.
How to beat them
Take out both twins. Two ways work:
- Send their arrows back. Draw across the dots, tilted toward the shooter, exactly like any archer. This works for the back twin too: tilt the line toward the left.
- Burn their planks. With fire ink, draw a short stroke up to a twin's plank. The plank catches fire and he drops out of the fight.
When one twin falls, the other shoots more often, so finish the second one quickly. For a full plan, read how to beat the Twin Archers without getting hit.
Common mistakes
- Watching only the front. Half of all shots come from behind.
- Drawing a wall too far behind him. The back twin's arrows come in at a shallow angle. A wall just behind his shoulders catches them; one far back gets overshot.
Reward
50 coins, points and the Two at once badge. After the twins, the cycle starts again with the Giant Archer.
